Data protection  is the relationship between the collection and dissemination of data, technology, the public expectation of privacy, legal and political issues surrounding them. Data privacy is challenging since it attempts to use data while protecting an individual's privacy preferences and personally identifiable information. The fields of computer security, data security, data security, and information security all design and use software, hardware, and human resources to address this issue. The Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) became effective on 27 May 2019 in Thailand’s Government Gazette and became effective the following day and there are many issues involving data protection including consent, privacy notice, breach notifications, security obligations, cross border data transfer, penalties and etc.
